Ever wonder what to post, tweet and write about with your social media efforts?
The last Biz Divas workshop was on Social Media and it was incredible. I learned that social media is a revolution, not a fad and it’s completely changing the way we market. I feel like for the first time, new companies can create awesome marketing momentum through cost-effective efforts. No longer do companies have to have a $10,000+ retainer with an ad or marketing agency to be successful.
First, check out this awesome article that one of my favorite social media and marketing experts (Jack Hadley @jack_hadley from Lava 7) passed along to me:

Now, do you follow the 70-20-10 rule?
70% is sharing resources
20% is spent in conversations with people
10% is about promoting yourself
Here are a couple of articles I liked about this:

Now what to write about:
Do you have a product or service that helps people? Talk about what results you are co-creating with your clients?
How have you gotten where you are? Share the resources that support you (books, articles, blogs, mentors, etc.)
Share tips. For example, an event planner can share tips on how to throw an amazing holiday party. Or share party etiquette.
Are you a massage therapist or other type of healer? Share tips on what people can do to minimize stress.
Share the inspiration behind your art if you are an artist of any kind.
What are your amitions and state of mind today? Share that, people will relate and you will create authentic relationships.
My personal philosophy is that social media is thriving because we are more interested in relationship marketing than “being sold to.” Social media engages you in relationship marketing and it works.
Do you want some feedback on what you can write about in your social media? Reply to this post with a very brief description of your company and I, along with my readers, will respond and give you some insight. This is the first step in making your social media successful. It’s about supporting each other. When we give, we receive everything we are looking for.
Some of my passions are health, raw foods and caring for Mother Earth! My business gives me the opportunity to share these passions with others. “Raw Recipe Box” is an on-line place where people can go to store, organize and share their raw recipes, as well as learn about the benefits of eating raw and have access to helpful tools like shopping lists, meal plans, demo-videos and my favorite resources for doing raw on a budget. II’ll primarily be targeting those who are just getting into raw foods and who want the basics in a simple, easy way.
Many people aren’t even aware of WHAT raw food is and WHY it’s better than cooked. In a nutshell, when food is heated over 115 degrees, the heat begins to kill 70-80% of the vitamins and minerals, 50% of the protein and ALL of the food’s natural enzymes that help to digest it. Eating a mostly raw food diet gives your body MORE nutrients with LESS calories, and most people experience weight loss when they begin to eat more raw. Start by eating a diet that’s only 50% raw and work up from there. 50% is easy to do by adding a green smoothie in the morning and a fresh, green salad before lunch and dinner. Then eat whatever you would normally eat., and little by little you’ll ikely find yourself feeling more satiisfied with the raw stuff and eating less of the other. Then, when you’re feeling creative, check out my blog or newsletter for some simple, easy and reasonably priced raw foods that taste delicious….like zucchini pasta with marinara sauce; thai coconut curry noodles, and my new favorites, corn jalapeno chips and spicy kale chips! YUM!
Currently, my website is still under construction, but I do have a blog (www.rawrecipebox.blogspot.com) and a newsletter (info@rawrecipebox.com) where I share tips, recipes and a schedule of the classes I teach in the community. Send me an email if you have questions or would like to be added to the newsletter. I’ve found eating raw is a lot of fun and my body feels SOOOO much better than it ever has before. I look forward to sharing what I’ve learned with all of you!
